You can find me at booth#806 where I’ll have prints, my new artbook, coloring books, apparel, new beach towels, stickers & pins & more!

The show hours are:

Friday August 25 – 1-7pm

Saturday Aug 26: 10am-7pm

Sunday Aug 27: 9:30am – 4:30pm

Do you like to color? I’m hosting a Coloring Book panel in celebration of my Pop Manga Coloring Book at Comic Con Palm Springs! It’s going to take place Saturday August 26 in room Smoketree C from 11am-12noon. There will be convention-exclusive coloring pages and I’ll bring crayons for us to share and color together. It’ll be a blast!

And while we’re talking about books, I’m going to have copies of my newest artbook from Dark Horse Comics at my booth 806! Femina & Fauna 2nd Edition is an updated edition of my sold-out title, and for this printing I’ve added new artwork, a new forward by Simone Legno creator of tokidoki, and a new chapter on how I made my painting “Aria”. It’s a great overview of my artwork featuring girls & animals, and I’ll be happy to sign your copy at the show!

I’m bringing lots of lovely prints to Comic Con Palm Springs! Like little “Pinkie Pie” here, and 8×10″ prints of “Lemon Drop”, my Howl’s Moving Castle artwork and new Lilo & Stitch inspired prints!

My “Merpeeps” is also debuting for the first time as a full color print! This one I colored together with Karina Siu, aren’t they precious! You can pick up a print at my booth 806 and I’ll sign it too!

Also debuting for the first time as a print is “The Hootist” which is my Comic Con Palm Springs exclusive print! I’ve made 25pcs of 8×10″ sized prints that I hand-embellished with metallic paints. Once these beauties all find new homes, they won’t be made again! So pick one up at my booth 806, or as a friend to help get one for you!

I’m bringing a new colorway of Peach Pie totes to Comic Con Palm Springs! These 16″ totes are super durable and strong, and come with a zipper to keep all your goodies inside where they belong. They’re even machine washable! So pick out your favorite, Peach Pie or Hello My Neighbor at my booth 806 and I’ll see you there!

Stickers and buttons and pins, oh my! I’m bringing lots of little goodies to my booth 806 including my newest Hello My Neighbor stickers, Rainbuns & Tuttleina pins. So pick out your favorite treasures when I see you there!

Thank You San Diego Comic Con!

That’s a wrap! SDCC 2017 is all done, and what an amazing show! I want to give a big Thank You shout out to everyone who visited and supported me at my booth, joined my signing, panel and live painting, and made this San Diego Comic Con incredible!

Everyone at Dark Horse Comics and team tokidoki, and of course Simone, were fantastic and my signing to celebrate Femina & Fauna 2nd Ed. was incredible! Thank you to everyone who came out to support my new artbook!

Big squishes and thank you’s to my collectors, both new and returning, who gave my Surreal Safari collection pieces such amazing new homes! I had a blast painting them, and all my petite paintings from this year’s collection have gone to new places. I’m already thinking about my next painting series!

Every year I get to make Live Painting at Holbein art supplies booth a part of my SDCC experience, and I love sharing my techniques and talking about the thing I love to do most with fans and visitors. Thanks again to Holbein for having me and for their support. All their paints and supplies are amazing, so check them out if you haven’t yet!

This year’s Comic Con will stay with me in my memories, and I’m so grateful for all your love and support for my artwork! Next year is going to be my 20th year going to SDCC, and I know already it’s going to be a wonderful show. I hope to see you lovelies there!

San Diego Comic Con Goodies Preview

It’s almost here! I’m so excited to show all you lovelies all of the lovely goodies I’ve been working on to bring to San Diego Comic Con! I’m coming back to my same booth location 4723, so come find me in the Fantasy Illustrator section. Here’s a handy-dandy map!

I’ve been focusing a lot on one-of, limited and small run goodies and apparel. And I’m bringing lots of it to booth 4723! I’ll have a handful of pieces from my LiveHeroes apparel collection, like these.

I’m also bringing mugs to SDCC! I’ll have 2 different designs of full-color print mugs, like these “Arachnia” ones. Isn’t she gorgeous! You can get one at booth 4723. 🙂

I’m bringing coaster sets and socks to SDCC booth 4723! You can mix and match 4 coasters to a set, but quantities are limited so come pick your favorites early in the show! The socks are super pretty too, each pair is all-over-print and super comfy. There’s 4 different designs to choose from, or you could get the whole set!

Totes totes totes! I’ve made a bunch of 1-of tote designs and colorways for my booth 4723! Each one is double-sided printing with a colored handle, and lots of them have zippers! They’re machine washable, so don’t be afraid to use them every day and freshen them up in the wash!

Is your pin game strong! It can be with the new Tuttleina and Rainbuns hard enamel pins I’m bringing to SDCC! These lovelies are polished hard enamel with a smooth surface, and locking pin backings on the back, so they won’t fall off your favorite bag or cardigan, or where ever you like to pin your treasures!

I’ve also got a big beautiful collection of printed vintage plates coming to SDCC! Each plate is truly one-of-a-kind and can’t be reproduced the same way. They make amazing wall decorations or additions to your curio cabinet, or anywhere you’d like to display a unique treasure!

I’ve got lots of new and unique plates for the show, so I’m going to bring new designs every day to booth 4723! Come check them out and be sure to visit on different days to find your new favorites. I’m also doing something fun and new this year! I’ve made 3 original drawings on Shikishi boards and I’m going to raffle them to supporters who purchase new goodies from my booth 4723.

I’ll give raffle tickets to supporters and have daily drawings on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. So if you’re at the show and you purchase from my booth on Wednesday Preview night, I’ll give you a raffle ticket for the Thursday evening drawing. It’s going to be so much fun! I’ll draw raffle tickets on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, so to be eligible you need to be at my booth 4723 in person at the end of the day (the exhibition hall closes 7pm). I’ll see you lovelies there, and thank you in advance for your support for my art!

San Diego Comic Con Part 3 Events

It’s coming up fast! Next week San Diego Comic Con will be upon us, and I’ve got fun events planned during the show. I’ll have a booth again at booth#4723 in the Fantasy Illustrator section, so come visit me there to get your books and prints signed, and check out all my awesome goodies!

I’ve got a special signing event to celebrate the release of my artbook, “Femina & Fauna 2nd Edition”! Dark Horse Comics, the publisher of the artbook, is hosting a signing event on Thursday July 20, from 4-5:30pm at their booth#2615. I’ll be signing alongside Simone Legno, creator of tokidoki who contributed the forward to Femina & Fauna 2nd Ed! We’ll be signing a special SDCC event-only print featuring my artwork ‘Black Rabbit Kaleidoscope’ and Simone’s painting image ‘Selfie’, and signing copies of Femina & Fauna purchased at the show. This is a wristband-only signing limited to 75 wristbands, so you need to get a wristband from Dark Horse Comics booth#2615. There will be 30 wristbands given out Wednesday night, and 45 wristbands distributed Thursday morning at booth 2615, so go visit them early to get one! I hope to see you there, and don’t be shy to ask to take a photo together! 😉

Save The Bees With Art Panel

I’m teaming up with some amazing partners to present a totally unique and super fun panel this year at SDCC! On Friday July 21 from 2-3pm, you can come to my “Save The Bees With Art” panel in Room 2. I’m bringing coloring book pages for everyone from my book Pop Manga Coloring Book and some crayons for if you’d like to color along during the panel! I’m also bringing postcards of my Lemon Drop painting to give out to great question askers during the panel!

I’ll be joined by my friend and art colleague J*Ryu who will be moderating, and Planet Bee Foundation co-founder Debra Tomaszewski, who will be bringing goodies sponsored by Marin Bee Company to give out to great question askers. Planet Bee Foundation are my new partners in conservation efforts to educate and share art and help foster responsible eco-friendly stewardship for our bee populations! The panel will also feature a representative from Holbein, which is the company that makes my favorite Duo Aqua water soluble oil paints! They’ll be giving some Holbein paint samples out during the panel to good question askers too, so if you’ve wondered about how water-soluble oils work and how they’re environmentally friendly, this is a great time to ask!

I’m also returning to Holbein booth 5104 on Saturday, July 22, to do a live painting demonstration from 10-11am! I’ll be working on a brand new painting and demoing Holbein Duo Aqua water soluble oil paints, the same ones I use in my book Pop Painting! This is an awesome opportunity to see my techniques in action, and ask about how I make my paintings, so come watch on Saturday Jul 22 from 10-11am at booth 5104!

Live Painting from ECCC 2016

San Diego Comic Con Part 1

I’m so excited to be returning to San Diego Comic Con! My booth is #4723 in the Fantasy Illustrator section, and I’m bringing lots of original artwork with me this year.

I’ve created a new original painting collection I call “Surreal Safari”, these petite oil paintings range in size from 3.5″ to 4×6″ and 5×7″. They’re an awesome way for new collectors to add an original painting to their collections, since petite paintings range in prices from $450-750+usd

I call this little cutie “Pinkie Pie”, inspired by the awesome Axolotl- they’re a amazing part of the natural world! “Pinkie Pie” is coming to San Diego Comic Con at my booth 4723 where I’ll also have prints, but if you can’t make it to the show, you can pick up a print here.

Another amazing creature I discovered this year is the Seabunny- seriously, if you’ve never heard of one, google search ‘Seabunny’ and you won’t regret it! I knew when I saw photos that I had to paint a rainbow one, so here is “Seabuns” for my Surreal Safari collection! Seanbuns will debut at booth 4723 alongside these other cute critters.

I’ve also been working on my Dorian Gray portrait to get him ready in time to join the Surreal Safari at SDCC booth 4723! He’s inspired by my favorite Oscar Wilde story, and if you’ve never read it, I highly recommend checking it out!

I’m also bringing original drawings to my booth 4723 at SDCC! I have a collection of framed 5×7″ graphite drawings I made during my travels in Europe, and I’ve been holding them for a special release. If you’re coming to the show, definitely visit early because each one is one of a kind, and once it finds a home, it’s gone baby gone!

I’m also making original artwork a part of my fan appreciation at SDCC booth 4723 for fans supporting my artwork at the show! I’m going to raffle original sketches on shikishi boards during the con, so come visit me at booth 4723 for a raffle ticket with your lovely new art goodies! I have lots more announcements for SDCC this year so stay tuned everyone!

Thank You Roma Cartoon Festival!

Thank you to everyone who visited me at Roma Cartoon Festival last weekend! And to the amazing organizers who all worked so hard (and even through the crazy heat wave!) to make the festival fun for everyone!

I had my fangirl moment meeting Masami Suda, illustrator for Fist of the North Star and much more! Childhood idol right there, so it was awesome getting to say Hello in person!

I’ve had some adventures while I’m back in Rome too, my cousin is a great travel companion! Between the two of us (mostly me) we’ve eaten so much amazing pasta haha. 😉

It’s been a blast and I’m always happy to visit Dorothy Circus Gallery while I’m in town. My original paintings from my Submerged show are still on display so if you can make it to Rome to see them, definitely go!

Roma Cartoon Festival Is On June 23-25

It’s finally here! Roma Cartoon Festival is on and I’m all set up at Guido Reni. I have artbooks, prints, tote bags, one of a kind scarves, hand made jewelry and more! I’ve decorated my exhibition room to be a rainbow wonderland and I hope you get the chance to visit me here!

Important Update:

My Live Painting has been moved to Saturday at 4pm on the Main Stage. I’ve brought a new painting-in-process with me so come visit and watch me work on it in person!

Hello Rome! Roma Cartoon Festival June 23-25

It’s so good to be back in Rome! I’ve landed and am getting ready for Roma Cartoon Festival June 23-25 at Guido Reni!

Rome is one of those cities of the world that I fall head-over-heels in food-love for. The pizza and gelato are amazing! I don’t think I could ever get tired of them, even if I had them every day.

Since Rome is such an old city, and very compact, a lot of people ride motorbikes or vespas. Unleashing my inner road warrior!

I’m so happy to be visiting Dorothy Circus Gallery again where my “Submerged” solo exhibition painting are on display and some are available! If you haven’t seen them yet or are interested in originals you can email sales@dorothycircusgallery.com

I love running around such a romantic and enchanting city, and then take a break for some drawing! I’m working on original graphite drawings I’ll bring to Roma Cartoon Festival June 23-25. I’ll have a whole exhibition room with my art, prints, apparel and special goodies, so if you can make it to Rome please come visit me!

Comicpalooza Opens Today!

I’m so excited to be here in Texas for the first time! Comicpalooza opens today at the George R Brown convention center in Houston, TX. My booth is #41 in the Publishers Pavillion, in front of the main exhibition hall entrance.

I’ve brought lots of goodies! Including one of a kind printed vintage plates, designer socks made with Todiefor Clothing, totebags, convention exclusive prints, goodies and more!

My artwork “Shipwrecked” is on this year’s Comicpalooza badges! So cool!

I snapped some fun photos from my hotel! Take a look at this mondo mama convention center.

And, of course, I leave rainy Vancouver BC and just bring all the rain with me to Houston! 😉 I’m the bringer of rain. Every time I visit California: it rains. Even in the summer. And now I can say the same about Texas! But that’s okay, I’ll be cozy and dry in the convention center at booth #41!

I’ve brought plenty of totebags and fun goodies to my booth! If you’re coming to the show, be sure to pick up my convention exclusive colorway of “The Baby Rebellion” print, I’ll sign it too!

Today is also my live painting panel from 4:30pm-5:30pm in room 371C! I’m working on a new painting, so come visit and we can chat, I’ll take Q&A, and talk about how I make my paintings.

Special Release Tonight on Etsy

If you can’t make it to Comicpalooza for “The Baby Rebellion” totebags, then fear not! I’m releasing a handful of them on The Camilla Store On Etsy tonight at 6pm PST. I’ll also be releasing the beautiful printed socks I take to conventions!

My Etsy goodies are often very low quantity or limited pieces (such as plates or graphite drawings) and can find homes really quickly! But, putting an item in the shopping cart doesn’t reserve it, so it’s possible it will get bought while you’re still shopping. So if there’s something you’re really excited to collect, try and checkout with it separately first. Then if you make a second order of less limited goodies, my Etsy coordinator Asami can work with you on combining the packages and postage if you send a message to TheCamillaStore on Etsy. 🙂

See you soon Comicpalooza!

It’s almost time! Comicpalooza is my first appearance in Texas May 12-14, so if you’re in the Houston area, come find me at booth41. I’ll be signing, taking a few commissions at the show, and have lots of goodies for you guys!

I wanted to share with you guys some brand new totes and printed vintage plates I’m bringing with me to my booth#41. These totes are fully machine washable and have a zipper (green like Yoda! So fun!) I’ll only have a handful at the show though, so come visit my booth early to snag one!

I’ve made a collection of one-of-a-kind vintage plates that I’m bringing to Comicpalooza booth 41. Each of these beauties is made on vintage china or bone china, and no two are exactly alike! Since there’s only one of each, make sure to visit me early in the show for the most selection at booth42!
