It’s done baby! Thank you to everyone who came and visited me at Emerald City in Seattle last weekend! You guys are amazing, you totally cleaned me out! I’m so happy everyone loved what I brought for you guys and came to see me. We had such a blast!
A big thank you to Dark Horse Comics for having me for a signing and making these awesome Femina & Fauna posters! Between both Dark Horse and I we totally sold out of copies of Femina at the show, but I made sure to sign every one I could!
My original painting “Albinow Rhinow” found a new home on the first day of the show and turned lots of heads walking by the booth! You can get a print of this fabulous rhino here on my custom print shop now!
So I may have broke the internet just a little by showing off my handbags I had at my ECCC booth. They sold out by Friday morning but I’ll make some for Etsy so be sure to sign up for release details on my newsletter here. I’ll have them at my C2E2 booth 1182 April 6-8 too! C2E2 in Chicago is my next convention event where I’ll be at the Artist Alley table S1 and Asami will run my big beautiful booth#1182 with all my apparel and goodies!
Happy Lunar New Year! It’s the Year of the Dog, so to celebrate I’m putting some fun original and handmade goodies and prints on Etsy starting this Friday Feb 16 at 9am PST! Some will be one-of pieces like this framed Richard the 29th Postcard, an original graphite drawing, handmade necklaces, brooches, rings, and prints of Charles Pugsley too! So keep an eye on Etsy here!

There will be new Bee themed scarves, prints, totes, Valentines cards and more goodies and treats! If you’re in the Vancouver BC area and would like an invite for my 11am or 5pm Feb 10th event just email firstname.lastname@example.org ! Here’s MY personal Best Nine of 2017. This year has been a crazy, unexpected whirlwind! Especially for me creatively. So I wanted to look back and choose 9 pics from my feed that I think made a mark on me as an artist. It’s important to look back to see how we grow and change and take notes for the future. This year I expressed many sides of my personality, the fun side with my fuzzbutt bees, the environmental side with the 3 eyed Ajna, the ridiculous side with my zombees. I opened up in ways I hadn’t before, like sharing my fan fiction art through Patreon (Bethyl forever!), deciding to channel love over hate with my new @coreyhelfordgallery show “Sky”. I pushed myself technically with “La Madre” one of my biggest most intricate paintings to date, I painted a boy, “Dorian Grey” mixing rainbows and literature, I spent a year completing my rainbow fox, and I brought my love of doll furniture together with my love of custom toys! I published my first ever online comic “Davinchibi” and launched my Etsy with the help of Asami! Tasha, my amazing coordinator knocked it out of the Park this year! She helped me build my Patreon and so much more. I did things this year that I hadn’t done before, traveled more than ever and took creative risks. It hasn’t been an easy year, I think many can relate. This year forced me to push myself to work harder and deal with tragedies. 2017 almost felt apocalyptic. Hate surfaced in ways I didn’t expect and it hurt my heart so gravely that I changed my entire direction for my solo show for Corey Helford next year. I decided to take a stand for my beliefs that ALL humans are equal. I want my art to inspire and heal, to bring people together, to spread love. I hope that I’ve brought smiles to your faces and been there through the hard times. My new motto is “Love over Hate”. I have some big plans for next year, I talk about them here on my new Huffington Post interview. You can read it here! Now that the year is ending it’s time to look forward to what we can accomplish in 2018! Stay strong and let your freak flag fly my lovelies!! I can’t thank you enough for all your likes and comments and support. You make me so happy! I want to wish you the Happiest New Years ever! Let’s celebrate with love! Big hugs and all my best!
I’ve got some goodies coming to my Etsy on September 30th, 9AM PST, in celebration of my birthday! Keep an eye on Etsy here for new printed vintage plates, hand made necklaces, signed prints and more. Orders placed on September 30th will also receive a bonus new postcard of “Pink Birthday Cake” as an extra thank you for your support!
I so appreciate all your support, and in thanks for supporting me for my Sept 30th Birthday release, I’m going to donate some of the proceeds to humanitarian efforts in Mexico and Peurto Rico.

It’s almost here! My Bee Release on Etsy is coming August 4th at 9AM PST and I couldn’t be happier! For this release I’ve teamed up with Planet Bee Foundation to raise funds towards sponsoring a brand new beehive for the School For The Arts in San Francisco. Planet Bee Foundation have been so amazing to work with already at our Save The Bees panel at San Diego Comic Con. If you haven’t read about them here yet, their Mission Statement is:
Planet Bee Foundation is a 501(c)3 environmental education nonprofit based in San Francisco. Their mission is to create a green-minded generation and inspire environmental stewardship through the teaching lens of the struggling honey bee and the power of individual action. Through their school programs, corporate teambuilding workshops, and public education, Planet Bee hopes more people will care for our environment and take action to have a positive impact on our interconnected world. To learn more about the work they do, visit here.
I had such an amazing time painting all my lovely fuzzy little bumblebees for release tomorrow. And I have more to share with you! Keep an eye open for these cuties joining the release.
Each bee is framed and one-of-a-kind. So if you have a favorite, I suggest trying to complete the checkout process right away. Items in the shopping cart on Etsy are not reserved, so the first person to check out completely will get their treasure of choice. Then if you make another order, my Etsy coordinator Asami can combine them for you.
I’m making Beekeeper hand-embellished prints a part of my Bee release too! These beauties are 12×16″ prints and come signed & numbered in an edition of 13pcs with 2 Artist Proofs available. They release on August 4th at 9AM PST here, so set your alarms!
I’ve made a handful of one-of-a-kind apparel and a bee collage towel for my Bee release! There’s only 1 of each and sizes are limited, so if you fall in love with one, don’t delay! The first 150 orders shipping inside the USA will also receive a Bentley wildflower seeds packet to plant and help bees in their area. So get ready for release on Etsy right here August 4th at 9AM PST!
New stickers and sticker sheets are releasing on Etsy too! You can choose between a big fuzzy 3″ Rainbow bee sticker, or a sticker sheet of lots of new pollinator friends! Pick yours up starting August 4th at 9AM PST here.
