Returning to C2E2 Chicago April 6-8

I’m coming back, baby! This is my 2nd year returning to C2E2 convention in Chicago and I’m pumped up! I’m going to have a table#S1 in Artist Alley again, and my Etsy coordinator Asami will run a booth#1182 full of my merchandise, bags and apparel!

C2E2 runs April 6-8

Friday 10am – 7pm

Saturday 10am-7pm

Sunday 10am-5pm

I’m bringing lots of prints to my Artist Alley table S1! I’ll have fan favorites like Aria and Pink Lemonade, and new ones like The Last Unicorn, Foxy Lady, Queenie Bee and more! I’ll sign them for you too! So come see me at AA table S1!

Books

I’m bringing books too! My publisher Boom! Studios is almost totally sold out of Tanpopo GN volume 1, and I’ll have just a handful of copies with me. If you haven’t picked yours up yet, don’t miss your chance!

I’m also bringing my artbook Femina & Fauna and my Pop Manga Coloring Book, and I’ll sign them for you too!

My booth 1182 is going to have lots of apparel, totebags, handbags and even some handmade scarves! I’ll bring as much as I can but quantities will still be limited. Some bags and especially the scarves have only 1pc each available! So don’t wait to pick up your favorites, because they’ll find homes fast!

I’m bringing my new folding hand fans to c2e2! They were a big hit at Emerald City and I sold out of Paper Hearts fans, so if you want to add one to your soon-to-be-summer accessory set then visit my booth 1182 early in the show!

Thank You ECCC 2018!

It’s done baby! Thank you to everyone who came and visited me at Emerald City in Seattle last weekend! You guys are amazing, you totally cleaned me out! I’m so happy everyone loved what I brought for you guys and came to see me. We had such a blast!

A big thank you to Dark Horse Comics for having me for a signing and making these awesome Femina & Fauna posters! Between both Dark Horse and I we totally sold out of copies of Femina at the show, but I made sure to sign every one I could!

My original painting “Albinow Rhinow” found a new home on the first day of the show and turned lots of heads walking by the booth! You can get a print of this fabulous rhino here on my custom print shop now!

So I may have broke the internet just a little by showing off my handbags I had at my ECCC booth. They sold out by Friday morning but I’ll make some for Etsy so be sure to sign up for release details on my newsletter here. I’ll have them at my C2E2 booth 1182 April 6-8 too! C2E2 in Chicago is my next convention event where I’ll be at the Artist Alley table S1 and Asami will run my big beautiful booth#1182 with all my apparel and goodies!

Coloring Contest and Designer Con

It’s time for a coloring contest! It’s been too long since my last one, so I’m opening the floor to something fun and creative for all you lovelies! Download and print off, or color digitally, one of my two new graphite drawings “Queen Bee” or “Spirited”. Show me your colored picture by posting a scan or photo on Instagram or Facebook with the hashtags #camillacoloringcontest #camilladerrico If you tag me I’ll be able to see them faster! Make sure your account is set to public so I can find them! On November 18th 11:59pm PST the contest will close and then I’ll pick 2 winners, and send each of them an original drawing!

Both of these lovely original framed 5×7″ graphite drawings are coming with me to my DesignerCon booth 1701 next weekend, Nov 11-12 at the Pasadena convention center! I’ll have loads of new goodies including original petite bee paintings, graphite drawings, custom painted toys, one of a kind jewelry, plates, handbags, apparel, totes, new convention exclusives and more! You can find me at booth 1701 here,

For all you who are like me and channel your inner vintage-loving-granny, I’m bringing one of a kind printed vintage plates! Take a look at these sweet treats I’ll have at my booth 1701

I’ll let the rest of them be a surprise! But each one is one-of-a-kind, so be sure to visit me early to pick your favorite. I’m also making hand-painted custom vinyl toys and petite bee paintings! Scope these babies out,

I’m also releasing a DCon exclusive hand embellished limited edition fine art print, and matching limited edition enamel pin! These Pinky bee prints are going to come hand signed and numbered in an edition of 25pcs, and I’ve embellished them with glitter. My DCon exclusive limited edition hard enamel bee pins are glow-in-the-dark, AND they have glitter in them too! What a perfect pair!

I’ll see you at the convention to pick up these fuzzy wuzzies, or, if you’re one of my Patreon First Dibs rewards members, you’ll get a chance to add one to your collection before the convention! If you want to get First Dibs on special releases like these, you can sign up here.

I’m also bringing some one-of tote bags, new one-of and small run purses and apparel from my Liveheroes collection to DCon booth 1701! Come check them our early in the show, because with goodies this limited they find new homes fast!

There will be prints and books at my booth 1701 too! I’ll have new prints like my “Pink Lemonade” and “The Last Unicorn”, but I’m only bringing a handful, so don’t miss out on your chance to add them to your collection! I’ll be signing prints and books all weekend, and if you’d like your artbook or copy of Tanpopo with an original sketch inside, ask me about it at the show!

Thank You San Diego Comic Con!

That’s a wrap! SDCC 2017 is all done, and what an amazing show! I want to give a big Thank You shout out to everyone who visited and supported me at my booth, joined my signing, panel and live painting, and made this San Diego Comic Con incredible!

Everyone at Dark Horse Comics and team tokidoki, and of course Simone, were fantastic and my signing to celebrate Femina & Fauna 2nd Ed. was incredible! Thank you to everyone who came out to support my new artbook!

Big squishes and thank you’s to my collectors, both new and returning, who gave my Surreal Safari collection pieces such amazing new homes! I had a blast painting them, and all my petite paintings from this year’s collection have gone to new places. I’m already thinking about my next painting series!

Every year I get to make Live Painting at Holbein art supplies booth a part of my SDCC experience, and I love sharing my techniques and talking about the thing I love to do most with fans and visitors. Thanks again to Holbein for having me and for their support. All their paints and supplies are amazing, so check them out if you haven’t yet!

This year’s Comic Con will stay with me in my memories, and I’m so grateful for all your love and support for my artwork! Next year is going to be my 20th year going to SDCC, and I know already it’s going to be a wonderful show. I hope to see you lovelies there!
