It’s almost Halloween and I’m so excited! Sometimes I have to be away for Halloween when I visit all my awesome LA Area peeps at Los Angeles Comic Con. But this year I get to be home and spend my favorite spooky night of the year with Loki and my hubby! So I want to give a special shout-out and Happy Halloween to everyone who visited me at LA Comic Con and who’s celebrating tomorrow. Take a look at these Halloween themed drawings I made last year!
I’ve also got fun news! I added a new tier to my Patreon page here. Now you can join my Postcard Club! Every month I’ll send you a signed postcard to anywhere in the world, and you’ll also get digital rewards like my monthly fanfiction chapters and PDF sketch collections. If you sign up before Nov 1, you’ll get November’s rewards in a flash! So check it out here and hopefully I could be mailing you a treat very soon!
It’s time! My Halloween release is here and it’s a doozy! You can check it out on Etsy Here for lots of new artwork, petite original oil paintings, signed prints, hand-made necklaces and one-of-a-kind totebags, fun halloween themed goodies and more!
It’s a Zombee outbreak! I’ve made a full series of Walking Dead chibi themed graphite drawings, and they’re fighting Zombees! (Get it? So punny!) Each 5×7″ drawing comes framed, and will include glow in the dark creepy crawlies with your order!
I’ve also released my Walking Dead inspired artworks as a postcard set! So you can collect all 6, and if you order them during my Halloween Release you’ll get a bonus Arachnia button too!
I have a small handful of original petite oil Lover’s Eye themed paintings now live on Etsy here! These little beauties are a great way to make an affordable original artwork part of your collection.
A collection of one-of-a-kind totes and plates is available now! Each one is unique and there’s only 1 of each design, so snap yours up quickly here!
There are lots more goodies to see, and orders placed during my release will have a chance to receive a bonus signed Tanpopo postcard or even an original Zombee graphite drawing I made! Check out my full release here and Happy Halloween!
I’m super excited to share a new project I’ve been working on for you lovelies! I’ve launched my band new Patreon page! Patreon is a place where I can connect more with my supporters and share more new art, behind-the-scenes looks at my process, and even what’s most important to me like Loki and my secret hobby (oh yeah, did I mention I secretly write fanfictions about Walking Dead and vampires??). It’ll be like joining my Adventure Club to share in my creative process!
One of the things I’m most looking forward to (and terrified of!) is sharing my fanfiction writing. But after I started mentioning it’s my hobby when I’m at conventions, or have visitors in my studio, everyone’s so excited and supportive to hear about it! So I’m taking the plunge and going to put it out there! Now you can subscribe for chapters of my Walking Dead fanfiction I titled “Loss And Gain”. I’ll add new chapters every month! This story is about WHAT IF Beth had survived being shot. What would happen to her and the group if she met up with them again? What if Beth and Daryl could finish their conversation in the kitchen? And what happens when they face off against Skin Walkers, a serial killer, and a herd of walkers!
I also have a lot of ideas for behind-the-scenes process content to offer only through Patreon. Finally I can do things like offer one-on-one portfolio reviews, share more videos, time-lapses, photos from my studio, and art that I make that doesn’t get posted on social media.
Patreon’s also a great way to get your own commissioned artwork! Every month I’ll be taking a small number of drawing and fuzzy bee painting commissions. You can sign up here!
There are loads of cool goodies and giveaways I have planned too. I’ve got to stop myself from giving everything away though, so you can come see what’s new here! I’m so thankful for your support for my art. Honestly, I can’t do what I do without your support, and by making contributions to me and my artwork you support a lot of small businesses and independent creatives I work and collaborate with too. It’s a big, wide, wonderful and amazing chain of being able to create and share all the rainbows and manga art in my heart with the world. And I thank you so much! So come check me out on Patreon!
Vancouverites! I’m coming back to Vancouver Comic Arts Festival (Vancaf!) next weekend, May 20-21! Vancaf is a FREE to attend event, and brings together tons of amazing small and independent comic creators. It’s an awesome way to find new stories, and support indie projects. I’ll be bringing copies of my passion-project, Tanpopo!
I’ll have copies of Volume 1 and 2 at my Vancaf table J1, along with my Rainbow Children artbooks and some of my How To instructional guides.
I’m also bringing some brand new prints! “Pop Goes The Weasel” will be available at my table J1, along with prints like “Angelica” and “Bettas on my Mind”.
If you can’t make it to Vancaf though, don’t worry! These lovelies are coming to The Camilla Store on Bigcartel starting May 15! There will be lots of wonderful new prints and choices for you lovelies there, so I hope you love it!
I’ll also be debuting new prints like “Minerva” and “Capuchina” at Vancaf, alongside some favorites like Dream Melt and La Capra. There will be lots to see, so come say Hi!
I’m bringing enamel pins to Vancaf for the first time! They’re an amazing way to add some artwork to your outfits, and come with locking pin backings to keep them safe from falling off. My Gudetama inspired “Sunny Side Up” pins even have rainbow glitter in the bacon!
I’ve made some printed mugs for Vancaf! I can only bring a very few pieces though, so be sure to visit my Vancaf table J1 early to choose your favorite!
I’ll have some of my microfiber cleaning cloths at Vancaf table J1! These beauties are fully machine washable, and great for cleaning your glasses, phone, tablet, or other glass surfaces too!
Hello from Calgary Expo! The show is on, and my booth is set up at guest artist tables X4-5! I have lots of prints, books, totes, and goodies, so if you’re in the Calgary area, be sure to stop by and say hi!
I’m giving a live painting demo at Kensington Art Supplies booth x20-21, Friday at 3pm! Come and watch me work on a new painting and chat, I’m happy to sign books, too!
On Saturday, April 29, I’m presenting a panel at Calgary Expo on my book Pop Manga Coloring Book! You can come and color along with me on pages from my book. I’ll bring some colored pencils, or you can bring your own from home! My panel will be in Palomino room AB on Saturday at 11am. See you there!
I’ve brought lots of goodies to Calgary Expo this year! Check out these beautiful totebags of my painting “Hello My Neighbor”. If you can’t make it to Calgary Expo, fear not! I’ll also bring some to my next show, Comicpalooza in Houston TX, May 12-14.
