Get Ready To Bumble Rumble release Nov 24

Who’s ready to Bumble Rumble? The swarm is coming! Oh mama have I got so many fun new things for all you lovelies releasing Nov 24 at 9am PST on Etsy Here. You’re going to love it! Here’s a roundup of just some of the goodies you’ll find when I unleash my swarm of treasures, giveaways and sales  for Black Friday’s Bumble Rumble Release. Remember to use the code FREESHIPBF on Etsy and my Custom Print shop Nov 24-27!

Original Artwork

There will be original 5×7″ framed graphite drawings releasing! Each is one of a kind, and a great way to start collecting small original artworks. I’ve been inspired by the ocean and mermaids while I make my next coloring book, so some fun fishy friends are joining the release on Etsy Nov 24 at 9AM PST!

Printed Vintage Plates

Plates a plenty! I made a new collection of printed vintage plates for my Bumble Rumble release. Some lucky collectors have snapped up some favorites as part of their Patreon First Dibs reward (Click here for details on getting First Dibs) but I still have plates coming to Etsy Nov 24 at 9AM PST! Each one is an authentic vintage plate that I’ve carefully paired an image with, and made into beautiful art!

Original Paintings

I can’t stop painting bees! Trust me, if you tried to stop me, I’d probably tell you to buzz off 😉 ha ha! But seriously, I love these little fuzzbutt bumble babies! Some original petite bee portraits are releasing on Etsy here on Nov 24 at 9am PST. Original artworks usually find homes really fast though, so set your alarms and check early for the most selection!

Handmade Jewelry

I’ve made some little treasures for my Bumble Rumble release! You can find hairpins and necklaces releasing Nov 24 at 9AM PST on Etsy here.

One-of Apparel and Scarves

I know you guys just love wearable art, so I’m releasing some during my Bumble Rumble release! These are limited and one-of items, so if you spot something you love in a size that works for you, snap it up! Because they won’t bee here for long. 😉

Bags

Some bags are coming to Etsy too! There will be one-of and small quantities of tote bags, and a few of my bags from Liveheroes! You can get yours with free shipping during my Bumble Rumble release by using the code FREESHIPBF

Pins, Postcards and Prints

Look at these busy bees! I’m releasing new bee prints, postcard sets and hard enamel pins as part of my Bumble Rumble release Nov 24 at 9am PST. There will be hand-signed 5×7″ prints, and 11×14 prints of my painting images Cirque du Miel and Weaver, and 12×12″  Ajna prints.

I’m also releasing a limited edition hand embellished 5×7″ bee print I embellished with glitter! They’re signed and numbered in an edition of 25pieces only, and once they’re sold out, the edition won’t be remade!

Check out these sweet little bee hard enamel pins! They have glitter in the wings, and a locking clutch backing to keep them right where you put them.

These 3-piece postcard sets are coming Nov 24 at 9am PST on Etsy! Send them to your friends, or keep them in your collection! You can get free shipping on your order with the code FREESHIPBF Nov 24-27

Save on Prints And Free Shipping

Save on select prints Nov 24-27 on Etsy! You’ll be able to choose from a variety of hand-signed prints, and you can use the code FREESHIPBF to get free shipping on Etsy or my Custom Print Shop Nov 24-27! Keep in mind prints from my custom print shop are made to your order, so please expect a few weeks for your prints to be made!

Gifts with Orders

I’ve made new goodies as a Thank You for your support! When you order during my Bumble Rumble release Nov 24-27, you’ll get stickers and a new temporary tattoo in your order! Orders of $75+ will receive a special Black Friday postcard, or spend $150+ and receive a sketched postcard instead!

And as an extra special Thank You, I’m going to include an original bee drawing in 2 random orders during my Bumble Rumble Release Nov 24-27 (Patreon First Dibbers included!) I made these cute little bees themed around Black Friday! I had fun making the black on on Sakura of America Gelly Roll pens and black paper. Check them out if you get a chance!

“Quick & Painful” – Tattoo Update

You may remember the last announcement about the “Quick & Painful” – Fine Art Tattoo Tour going around the United States over the next few weeks. The show opened in Los Angeles a couple weeks ago, and is moving to New Haven, Connecticut this weekend!

Check out some of the excellent work you can get from artists like Ron English, Tara McPherson, and Alex Pardee (all images from The Hope Gallery’s Flickr set from L.A. – click for larger view):

There have been so many super awesome cool people who have gotten tattoos of Camilla d’Errico originals, and if you can make it out to any of the Quick & Painful show dates, you can choose from one of the designs below:

And speaking of tattoos, we just got an email from Sarah who got an amazing Camilla d’Errico inspired bird tattoo! Nice!

Don’t forget the Granimator and Color Ink Book contests are still happening! Enter before time runs out!

“Quick & Painful” – Fine Art Tattoo Tour

[Please note some dates have changed due to Hurricane Irene causing trouble along the East Coast.]

On Saturday, September 3rd, the Crewest Gallery in Los Angeles will kick-off the “Quick & Painful” tattoo art show that will travel the United States until the end of the year. For one night only fans can get a tattoo from one of 15 pop-artists, including work from Alex Pardee, Amanda Visell, Ron English, Kathie Olivas, and more!

The art show will move toThe Hope Gallery in New Haven, Connecticut on Saturday, September 24th, then to the Rotofugi Gallery in Chicago on October 8th, and finally to Art Basel in Miami on December 3rd. For more information, including interviews with contributing artists, please visit the “Quick & Painful” Blog.

It’s been so great to see so many people featuring work on their bodies! It’s pretty surreal! Here are some awesome fans who have gotten ink done in the past:

And now, if you’re in Connecticut, LA, Chicago, or Miami, you will be able to get a very professional tattoo of the Helmetgirls images below!

[Click for larger view.]

After the the Chicago gallery open on Saturday, October 8th, a very limited number of prints will be available to purchase in Miami for Art Basel, as well as online through the Hope Gallery online store.

If you end up going and get a tattoo of any of the artists, please let us know on Facebook or Twitter so we can share the work with everyone! Thanks!

Awesome Tattoo from Poland

A really dedicated fan in Poland decided to get the painting “Lions and Lambs” inked on her back, and her husband was kind enough to send in some photos of the amazing results. Apparently the process took nearly nine hours of work – so much pain for beauty! Thanks to tattoo artist Marcin Liana for doing such excellent work. Check out the photos below, they can all be opened to bigger versions by clicking on them, and let us know what you think in the comment section.

First, the outline must be done.

camillatat2

Then some shading and spot coloring, which can take a long time.

camillatat3

Rich blues and other colors are added, including more details.

camillatat4

The shinny, rainbow-like design came out very nice.

The tattoo artist isn’t quite done yet, though. Plans to add more colors and details, especially to the lambs, are being made. We wish our Polish friends the best of the luck.

Do you have a Camilla d’Errico tattoo, or know someone who does? Let’s share them with the world! Leave a note below and hopefully we can show a gallery of work soon.
