100 Painters Exhibition in Akiba, Tokyo

Today begins a new round of the 100 Painters Exhibition in Akihabara, a shopping area in centeral Tokyo often called “Akiba” for short. The district is famous for its large selection of electronic, computer, videogame, and anime stores that draw tourists from all over the world. While the large majority of artists being featured are from Japan, a very select few contributors from other countries were chosen, including Camilla!

The piece on display is “Playful Bunny,” which debuted at the Red Light Exhibition at Dirty Show in Detroit, Michigan last year. The original piece has already sold, but it’s an honor to be able to have the art shown in such an exciting Tokyo location. Just click on the image for a larger version, but be warned that the art is a bit risqué.
