“Prism” is my third solo show at Haven Gallery. The brand new paintings being exhibited explore the power of color as a creative tool for creating and expressing emotion. Often, the complexities of each of our feelings cannot be put into words. I created these paintings to serve as a conduit to portray variations of the human condition. I add rainbow hues to muted, monochromatic palettes in order to represent the vast nature of human emotions.
Similar to the color spectrum, emotion covers a vast range, with intermingling elements and complexities.
