I have some great news to share with you!! I don’t know how many people are aware of Artslant – but its a website dedicated to artists, galleries, etc. Well I’ve had my work up there for a few months, and I also entered one of my paintings, Aida, into their Showcase Competition. Basically they have a panel of judges who judge the artwork. And I won! I’m so excited about it!!
I entered, Aida, one of my Waterfall of Dreams pieces from last July’s solo show at Copro Nason. You can click on the link to see all the winners. Then, there is a second phase to the competition where all the winners will go before another panel of judges and the 6 best of all winners will be chosen for a Golden Frame Award (in March 2010). For now though, I want to savour this moment and share it with you all!
