New releases and goodies are coming to The Camilla Store on Etsy October 8th starting 9AM PST/12noon EST! I can’t visit the Big Apple this fall, but I can bring the Big Apple release to you with a new limited edition fine art print, sculptural 3D art, new pins stickers and more.
“Thanatos” is a painting I created for my solo exhibition, The Color Wheel, and is releasing as a hand-embellished limited edition of 50 fine art prints.
Convention panels aren’t happening in-person, so I’m hosting a Q&A on my Instagram Live on October 8th, and a painting demo on Instagram Live on October 10th. Stay tuned for more details on livestreaming times.
My Cute And Creepy coloring book is in stock and will be available. Along with new releases coming October 8th at 9AM PST. The first 200 orders will receive a bonus Magnet while supplies last. And all orders will receive digital downloads of coloring pages not found in Cute And Creepy Coloring Book. Stay tuned for more details soon!
Mark your calendars lovelies! Because pandemic or no – I’m still gonna bring you loads of goodies on my Etsy Shop for SDCC 2020’s Comic Con @ Home starting 9AM PST July 21st until 5PM PST July 26th!
I’m sure you’ve all heard by now that SDCC has been officially cancelled (and if you hadn’t then I’m SO SO sorry I had to be the bearer of such bad news!). But fret not! I – like many of my fellow artist – am bringing my SDCC merchandise to you online!
I’ve got SO many great goodies headed your way on my Etsy Shop including daily original drawings giveaways; online exclusive fan badges; new mystery bundles; new one-of-a-kind totes, new original art, custom toys, kimonos, a brand new timed release print and so much more!
I’ll have 20% off my Custom Print Shop so make sure to take advantage of that when you head over there for my new Timed Release print “Senshi Hive”! She will be a 16”x20” Lasal signed and numbered print limited edition – numbered to the amount sold during the release. Whether that’s 50 or 500 – who knows?!
Because she’s a print she will ONLY be available on my Custom Print Shop – but don’t fret! Because supplies won’t run out! You just need to purchase her during the release: from Thursday 9am PST July 21st to Sunday 5pm PST July 26th. After the release ends she will be printed to the number that was sold, signed and numbered and then she’ll be gone forever! So don’t miss out on her.
All my other convention goodies will be waiting for you on The Camilla Store on Etsy! There will be brand new original sketches available for purchase. Loads of Sailor Moon art and the sailor scouts as fuzzbutts! And other pop culture art as well.
All the sketches are either 5”x7” or 8×10” and will come framed in ornate white frames. There’s only one of each drawing though! So don’t miss out!
I’ll have a handful of T-shirts available with all new images. They are all handmade in Poland, preshrunk and are really great quality!
There will be limited numbers and sizes. So if it says it’s sold out – then we’ve definitely sold out (unfortunately we won’t have any more hiding in “the back”). Sorry!! So don’t wait to buy the one you want or else you might miss out! Check out a sample fit of an old design below:
This closed up world has been very hard. The physical distance. The emotional distance… Not being able to have an opening for my solo show to share with you all was difficult to swallow. But safety is the most important thing. Because I wouldn’t be anywhere without my wonderful fans!
Even though I couldn’t be there and even though the gallery was physically closed – I still wanted to do something special for the closing of my show!
And for those who want a piece from one of my gallery shows – but can’t afford an original painting – STAY TUNED! Because you’ll be able to own a piece of the show by snatching up one of the apples or bunnies!
Keep your eyes on my social media because I hope to announce these guys soon!

This year has been a crazy one so far – I’m sure you can all agree. But we are all making due and working toward a better tomorrow. I personally have been working my butt off and finally finished all my pieces for my Solo Show “The Color Wheel” at The Corey Helford Gallery .
Make sure to tune into my Instagram @camilladerrico for a few show specific events! On Friday, May 29th at 3pm PST: Travis Louise will be interviewing me about my show. Saturday, May 30th (opening night) there will be two Instagram live events: 5:45pm-6:45pm PST we will be doing a walk through of my show at the gallery. The staff will take a camera and walk through the facility so you can see my show “in person”! Then afterwards at 8pm PST I’ll be hosting a Drink & Draw from my home. So watch me draw and have a drink with me to celebrate my show opening!
The show opens May 30th and runs until July 3rd. I know the gallery is physically closed at the moment – and will remain closed during the stay-at-home quarantine – but you’ll be able to view all my pieces online. And if things clear up, hopefully the gallery MAY allow viewings – but don’t quote me on that.
If you are interested in purchasing any of my pieces please email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
Hello lovelies. COVID-19 has seriously affected shipping – costs and times – so due to the slow downs, as of May 18th, I won’t be offering signed prints on my Customizable Print Shop any longer. The only exceptions will be already signed prints that are listed on my Etsy Store and when I have releases in the future. So things like my June Bug release? Signed prints will be available to custom order during releases like that.
Hello lovelies! I was quoted in an article recently that I wanted to share with you all. Especially since you’ll be spending a lot of time in your home – why not get in the home decor mood?!
Check out the article by Ryan Smith on Redfin. There are a lot of great tips from other amazing artists! Here’s what I have to say on the subject (but elaborated on):
The kind of art in your home says a lot about your personality; playful, thoughtful, classic etc. There are so many ways that imagery can disclose without words your inner mind.
Don’t be afraid to put up art that you love! Your home is your sanctuary so fill it with things that make you happy.
Combining a variety of art shows a very well-balanced home, but make sure to keep a cohesive look. For example, having a variety of art but having similar frame styles helps to declutter the space while still adding a lot to the room.
Blend your space with objects that play off of each other. It’s also very important to know where you want to draw the eye, have a focal point in the room and then add to the space with art and décor that compliments it.
Check out some photos of my former studio for ideas!
