Zodiac Exhibition Opens May 11 at Haven Gallery

I’m so pleased to get to share with you all my next solo collection I’m creating for Haven Art Gallery, opening May 11th.  Preview the collection online here. The Zodiac has always been something dear to my heart and a way of connecting with my family and others around me. In the Zodiac, there are 12 signs. Each sign has its specific qualities, personalities and characteristics that tell how they will interact with the world around them, be it people or life itself.

We can, as humans, connect with the stars themselves through the zodiac. Astrology determines how these constellations relate to human activity and connect us with celestial phenomena. Each sign represents specific characteristics of behaviour and personality traits that dictate the roles that we play in the world. Their archetypal nature helps to give us an understanding of a sense of purpose in the universe.

When painting the Zodiac, I wanted to create images that blended my knowledge and love of the star signs with what each sign’s traits mean to me personally through my experiences. We all are unique, yet when we look at the horoscope we can identify similar traits in others that bring us together. The zodiac tethers people together in a mystical way.

I’ll be travelling to Haven Art Gallery to attend opening reception May 11th for the debut of my Zodiac solo exhibition collection. I hope to see some of you at opening reception 6-8pm at Haven Gallery! Please inquire original artworks for your collection by emailing info@havenartgallery.com and Preview the collection here.

Prints of my Zodiac collection are launching on my Custom Print shop here on May 11th!

New Painting for Dorothy Circus Gallery Mother & Child Exhibition

This is my newest painting “Gaia” I created for Dorothy Circus Gallery’s Mother & Child exhibition opening in London April 13th. Motherhood to me means many things , the love for my mother who carried me into this world and gave me life, the connectivity of women around the world, growing life within and bringing it into the world. But what I wanted to paint was Mother Nature the first and true mothe of the Earth. “Gaia” creates all life on earth, she protects and nurtures us with her body. She gives us a moment on this earth that begins and ends but is filled with beauty and possibilities. So I would like to honor the Mother of our Earth with this portrait of her.

You can inquire adding this original oil painting to your collection by emailing info@dorothycircusgallery.uk or add a print of her to your collection from my custom print shop here.
