Thanks For A Great SDCC2013!

San Diego Comic Con was filled with fun, fans, friends and fabulous art! Thank you to everyone who came by the booth to visit, get books and prints (and toys!) signed, and find beautiful new prints and items to collect.

Good to see Camilla’s Burn make Comic Con and Tr!ckster’s Top Picks for 2013!

Camilla was in her booth for the most of the show signing, sketching and connecting with fans. Her Ian Somerhalder cardboard cutout, promoting The Beekeeper charity print fundraising project for Ian Somerhalder Foundation, was a big hit. Ian signed the cutout in endorsement at Warner Brother’s Vampire Diaries Signing on the SDCC show floor!

Fans loved Camilla’s new convention releases and exclusives. The 11×14″ Fukurou Mini Prints Camilla made for SDCC sold out on the first full day of the show! Camilla is planning her next online clothing release, so subscribe here to keep up to date with her limited edition releases.

Helmetgirls Cosplay

Prominent female cosplayers Meagan Marie and Lisa Lou Who attended Comic Con dressed as Camilla d’Errico paintings. Meagan cosplayed “The Heart” and Lisa cosplayed as “The Egg Thief”. Thank you for stopping by the booth ladies! The crowd swelling around the booth to take photos of Camilla and her cosplayers exceeded 30-40 people.

Friday Party Time!

Hey everyone!  Friday is just around the corner! Make sure you come out to El Kartel at 9:00 pm on December 11th for the release party with all the cool new clothes, more handbags and accessories and one of a kind art prints!  The address is 1025 Robson Street.

I’ve posted a selection of shots from the model photoshoot on my Flickr page, so go check them out! There are a few details about the clothing that you can’t see there – like the black ink is sparkly, the white reflective ink is nearly silver and the hoodies all have gold zippers and these are all truly one of a kind because they are hand screened; no two are alike. Special stuff!

Here is the invite, so come out to the party if you can — and keep your fingers crossed — we don’t want a snowstorm like last year 😉

Winter Clothing Line 2009

It is here! The snow? December? Yes, those too! But even BETTER than snow or the fact that Christmas is right around the corner (yes I admit, I adore Christmas), is that my 2009 Winter Clothing Line is ready!!  The whole line is now available on my online store. You’ll find it listed under FEATURED and CLOTHING.

We talked about the line a couple of months ago when we asked your opinions on the design to use on the new hoodies.  So we’ve gone with what you’ve asked for … This year’s limited edition design is: DEER GOD’S COMA on tshirts for guys, hoodies for guys and girls, and dresses too!

Deer God Hoodie Purple Deer God Hoodie BlackDeer God T Black Deer God T White

Deer God Top

But we didn’t stop there; one design can’t possibly be enough fun! So we’ve got some new TANPOPO designs and colors on shirts and sweatshirts, hats with KURO embroidery (soooo cute) and VENISSEN LICK dresses and scarves. Oh So Sexy and lots of funky colorways for the brave and the brash, the cheeky and the sassy!

And we are happy to announce that the handbags with Tanpopo and Crane Girl are back in stock! These are hard to come by, even for us, so this is an extra special treat!

These are limited edition, some limited to less than 15 pieces of one kind, so if you love my unique designs and color palettes and clothing – now is the time to pick some up!  Whether you buy for yourself or as gifts, I know you’ll love the line!

We’ve got the items up already on the online store to ensure shipments have enough time to arrive before Christmas, so please don’t wait too long, otherwise we won’t be able to guarantee arrival of your order in time for the Holidays.  Also we’ve added SIZE CHARTS  to the Frequently Asked Questions!

PS – keep your eyes on my blog for more photos of the clothing after the photo shoot AND more news about the release party.

Launch Party Coming Up and SDCC

I’m back, crazy as ever with so much planning! In a few days, this Saturday, the Tanpopo Clothing Release Party is going to hit! Everyone who can come, should come to the Ayden in Tinseltown (Vancouver) for this big event. We’ve designed some really funky clothes – got away from ‘just’ tshirts (although there are also tees) and tried something different; dresses for girls, ties for guys, and some hot hot underwear for both!

This here is a sneak peak at one of the tshirts. It has one of the panels from the Tanpopo Vol 1 book, one of my favorite scenes, actually.  This is not photoshop, btw, this is a modeled shot! The print job is fabulous!

I’ll be blogging again throughout the week as I get more pictures from the printers! I am so excited about this. And the crazy weekend leads up to San Diego Comic Con, of course!  This year, for the first time, I have my own table. I won’t be free to roam around, but I’m happy to have a home base. It’ll be easier to find me too!  N11 Small Press.  I do have a few signing events each day, on top of being at the Image booth 1705 to promote Sky Pirates of Neo Terra.  Here’s the schedule:

Thursday 3:00 pm I’m signing at Hi Fructose stand. I’ll have Vol 10s and there will be some special prints by Hi Fructose for people who stop by.  Booth N. 4939. They call the stand chaotic … I can’t wait!

Friday at 12:45 until 2:00 pm I’ll be at the:  CBLDF Master Sessions: “Who Killed Amanda Palmer?” Life Drawing with Camilla D’Errico, David Mack, & Terry Moore—

I can’t get enough of the description … Bring your sketchbook and witness how illustrative masters Camilla D’Errico, David Mack, and Terry Moore draw from life as internationally renowned performer Amanda Palmer poses at this CBLDF Master Session! Amanda is the creative force behind Who Killed Amanda Palmer?, a book of photographs accompanied with stories by Neil Gaiman, and the critically acclaimed album of the same name. Palmer will establish the mood for the event, while the artists translate her dramatic poses into their own distinctive styles. The original art from this session will be auctioned off on Saturday night at the CBLDF’s auction! Room 30CDE  .

Need I say that I’m quite honoured? Seriously, this is amazing!!

Moving on to Saturday, another CBLDF – this time I’ll be at their booth 1920 to sign the “How to Talk to Girls at Parties” print. There will be 100 of these only and unfortunately no Neil … but there will be me, so I hope that is enough 🙂

Ok so that is about it for now. More Tanpopo clothing coming soon!!!
