It’s almost here! The last show of what I dubbed Conagedon is coming up fast. Designer Con is where I’m headed next. I’ll be there all weekend signing November 16-18 at booth#2334.

Saturday November 17

I’m presenting on a Kidrobot themed panel at 1PM talking about a fun new series I contributed designs to for 2019! I don’t want to spoil any surprises yet, but I think fans of Arcane Divination Dunny series will be pleased! Stay tuned for Room# and more details soon.

Sunday November 18

I’m signing at FYE For Your Entertainment Booth#2200 from 12pm-1pm alongside TOKYOPOP Founder and Editor, Stu Levy, for The Nightmare Before Christmas: Zero’s Journey graphic novel release! I contributed the cover artwork, colored with Amanda Duarte, for the FYE Exclusive cover variant. You can pick up your copy at FYE retail stores or FYE booth#2200 and bring it to my signing!

 

Exclusive Releases

Where are my merpeeps at! I’ve hand-embellished a limited edition of 10 Jellymaid 8×10” Fine Art Prints as a Designer Con exclusive release! Each print is signed & numbered with hand-painted embellishments, releasing exclusively at booth#2334.

 

Hand Painted Custom Toy Pop Up Gallery

I’ve been a busy little bee painting some of my favourite custom toys for Designer Con! It’s my one convention of the year I focus the most on creating custom one of a kind art toys. This year I was especially inspired by the human rainbow and my themes from my Sky solo show.

Each of these rainbowtastic cuties is hand-painted and complimented with 3D elements to make them unique and individual. They’ll be available at booth#2334 but my Patreon First Dibs patrons will get a Preview and Presale opportunity to collect a handful of originals before the show. Lover’s Eyes

All the love and beauty of an original painting combined with the romantic gesture of a Lover’s Eye! I’ve created a collection of original Lover’s Eye paintings especially for Designer Con. These beauties will be available exclusively at booth#2334 starting November 16th so visit early, original artworks find new homes fast!

Aria 3D Sculpture

I’ll have a very few of my limited edition release Aria 3D Sculpture from APPortfolio! Only 200pcs were made worldwide, and each one includes hand-painting and flocking embellishments and crystal eyes. A lot of heart and soul went into these breathtaking pieces over a year of development and I’m so excited to share them with you! You can collect one in person at booth#2334 but collect yours early because only a handful of pieces will be available for the whole show! Prints

Prints are coming to Designer Con booth 2334! You can pick up new prints like Sun Kisses, Mamba Mia, Godiva, Little Miss Goo, Hydie, and more, and I’ll sign em all for ya! There will also be pop culture inspired fuzzy bee prints like these adorable cuties.

 

 

Books

If you haven’t picked up a copy of my newest artbook The Beehive, you can find some at Designer Con booth#2334! It collects 72 pages of Fuzzbutt cuteness, and it’s a limited edition printing! Once it’s sold out, it won’t be reprinted. Snag your copy and I’ll sign it for ya! There will also be copies of my artbook Femina & Fauna and my new Mermaids coloring book!

Returning to NYCC Oct 4-7

New York Comic Con, I’m coming back for you! I’ll be signing it up at NYCC October 4-7 and there will be new releases, so here’s a look at where you can find my art at this year’s NYCC!

Signings & Releases Booth #775

A NYCC Exclusive edition of “Miss Duplexity” hand-embellished Limited Edition 16×20″ Fine Art Prints is releasing at booth#775. I’ve hand-painted embellishments on each signed and numbered print in an edition of 30 pieces. An Artist Proof edition of 7 hand-embellished prints, marked with AP will also release at booth #775 on Thursday.

A brand new pin design is coming to NYCC booth #775! This debut of “A Loving Mind” enamel pin in rainbow metal is an NYCC Exclusive limited edition colorway. Pick yours up at booth#775, once it’s sold out, this colorway will not be made again!

A Pop Up exhibition of new fuzzy bee paintings and original artwork will be on display and available at booth#775 starting Thursday October 4th! Each artwork will be one-of-a-kind and make for a special addition to new and experienced collections! Visit Booth775 early in the show, because original artworks find new homes quickly.

New clothing from my official Liveheroes collection will be available at NYCC booth#775! These art apparel items are all hand-made with a lot of love, and the sweater linings are so soft, it feels like wearing a dream! Quantities are extremely limited to only 1-2 of each size, so be sure to visit booth#775 early since clothing sells out lickety-split!

Thursday Oct 4 Signing Dark Horse Booth#1636

I’m signing at Dark Horse Comics Booth#1636 on Thursday October 4th, from 11am-11:50am! You’ll be able to pick up copies of my artbook Femina & Fauna directly from Dark Horse Comics Booth#1636, and I’ll sign it for you for free! Dark Horse Comics is also giving away a free poster for me to sign for everyone who comes to my signing too!

Thursday Oct 4th Panel – Zero’s Journey

Do you love The Nightmare Before Christmas as much as I do? High-fives! Disney & TOKYOPOP asked me to design a cover for their new manga release of Zero’s Journey! I’ll be talking on a Zero’s Journey Panel with TOKYOPOP founder Stu Levy and color artist Dan Connor on October 4th, from 7:45pm-10pm in Room1A24 where there will also be a free screening of the original Nightmare Before Christmas film. Can you believe it’s 25 years since the film was released? Happy Anniversary, Nightmare Before Christmas!

Friday Oct 5 Signing Spokeart Gallery Booth#675

New 16×20″ Hand Embellished Limited Edition Fine Art Prints of “Like Mother Like Daughter” are releasing at Spoke Art Gallery Booth#675 on Friday at 2PM EST during my signing there! Come visit me for a free signed postcard, and you can pick up one of these limited edition lovelies too. I’ve painted embellishments by hand on each print in this edition of 30pcs, all signed and numbered, baby!

Saturday Oct 6 New York Public Library Signing

I’m signing up a storm at NYCC! I’ll be at the New York Public Library tables 1A100 outside the entrance to Panel Rooms 1A from 11am-12noon, signing for Zero’s Journey and Pop Manga Mermaids coloring book! You can get a free postcard from Pop Manga Mermaids, and I’ll sign it for you there! You can bring your books and prints from home too, since the signing is free to attend, and I’ll sign them all!

Sunday Oct 7 FYE Booth Signing Zero’s Journey

I’m showing some love for Zero’s Journey book release at FYE For Your Entertainment booth#622 for a book signing Sunday, 11am-12noon! My cover for Zero’s Journey, coloured together with the awesome Amanda Duarte @Limetown, is an FYE retailer exclusive! So if you want a copy of Zero’s Journey with my cover art, you better stop by an FYE store or grab yours at NYCC at FYE’s booth#622. Bring your copy to my signing on Sunday and I’ll put the old John Hancock on it for ya! Except I’ll spell it ‘Camilla’ 😉 haha. This weekend September 28-30 my awesome team from @thecamillastore are headed to Baltimore Comic Con with a bunch of my goodies, apparel, books and prints. New York Comic Con

I’m coming back for signings & a new panel at New York Comic Con, baby! I’m back, Salt Lake City! I’m at FanX Salt Lake Comic Con booth#604 signing from Sept 6-8. Come visit me at the show! You can find new prints, new artbooks & Pop Manga Mermaids coloring books and more at booth#604, and I’ll sign ’em for ya right there, baby!

Read My New Webcomic Davinchibi on Webtoons

I’ve got big news for all of you! I’ve released a brand new free-to-read webcomic, “Davinchibi”, through Webtoons! This comic follows the adventures of a young Leonardo Da Vinci as he makes discoveries in science, magic, and friendship. I worked with a fantastic team like writer Stephen Martin (from my book Pop Manga!) and colorist Karina Siu, Letter Wilson Ramos Jr. and Webtoons’ own Tom Akel to make this project amazing and possible for all of you to enjoy.

There will be a new chapter updated every Wednesday on Webtoons. You can read it online for free here and by downloading the Webtoon mobile app from the App Store or Google Playstore, and read it on-the-go! If you Subscribe to Davinchibi, you’ll even get updates when the next chapter is out! I’d love to see you like and Comment what you think too! Visit Me At Long Beach Comic Con Sept 2-3

I’m headed to sunny and beautiful Long Beach for Comic Con this Labor Day weekend! Find me at booth 1124 where I’ll have prints, artbooks, apparel, beach towels, stickers and pins and more!

I’ll even be live painting on Saturday in “The Final Frontier” Room 103C, how fitting! So come see me there for some Q&A where you can ask me about my painting as I demonstrate techniques from my book Pop Painting.

I’m coming back to Comic Con Palm Springs! I love Palm Springs, and this convention is a fantastic way to express all those good vibes and share some art with all you lovelies! Do you like to color? I’m hosting a Coloring Book panel in celebration of my Pop Manga Coloring Book at Comic Con Palm Springs! It’s going to take place Saturday August 26 in room Smoketree E from 11am-12noon. There will be convention-exclusive coloring pages and I’ll bring crayons for us to share and color together. It’ll be a blast!

And while we’re talking about books, I’m going to have copies of my newest artbook from Dark Horse Comics at my booth 806! Femina & Fauna 2nd Edition is an updated edition of my sold-out title, and for this printing I’ve added new artwork, a new forward by Simone Legno creator of tokidoki, and a new chapter on how I made my painting “Aria”. It’s a great overview of my artwork featuring girls & animals, and I’ll be happy to sign your copy at the show!

I’m bringing lots of lovely prints to Comic Con Palm Springs! Like little “Pinkie Pie” here, and 8×10″ prints of “Lemon Drop”, my Howl’s Moving Castle artwork and new Lilo & Stitch inspired prints!

My “Merpeeps” is also debuting for the first time as a full color print! This one I colored together with Karina Siu, aren’t they precious! You can pick up a print at my booth 806 and I’ll sign it too!

Also debuting for the first time as a print is “The Hootist” which is my Comic Con Palm Springs exclusive print! I’ve made 25pcs of 8×10″ sized prints that I hand-embellished with metallic paints. San Diego Comic Con Part 3 Events

It’s coming up fast! Next week San Diego Comic Con will be upon us, and I’ve got fun events planned during the show. I’ll have a booth again at booth#4723 in the Fantasy Illustrator section, so come visit me there to get your books and prints signed, and check out all my awesome goodies!

I’ve got a special signing event to celebrate the release of my artbook, “Femina & Fauna 2nd Edition”! Dark Horse Comics, the publisher of the artbook, is hosting a signing event on Thursday July 20, from 4-5:30pm at their booth#2615. I’ll be signing alongside Simone Legno, creator of tokidoki who contributed the forward to Femina & Fauna 2nd Ed! We’ll be signing a special SDCC event-only print featuring my artwork ‘Black Rabbit Kaleidoscope’ and Simone’s painting image ‘Selfie’, and signing copies of Femina & Fauna purchased at the show. This is a wristband-only signing limited to 75 wristbands, so you need to get a wristband from Dark Horse Comics booth#2615. There will be 30 wristbands given out Wednesday night, and 45 wristbands distributed Thursday morning at booth 2615, so go visit them early to get one! I hope to see you there, and don’t be shy to ask to take a photo together! 😉

Save The Bees With Art Panel

I’m teaming up with some amazing partners to present a totally unique and super fun panel this year at SDCC! On Friday July 21 from 2-3pm, you can come to my “Save The Bees With Art” panel in Room 2. I’m bringing coloring book pages for everyone from my book Pop Manga Coloring Book and some crayons for if you’d like to color along during the panel! I’m also bringing postcards of my Lemon Drop painting to give out to great question askers during the panel!

I’ll be joined by my friend and art colleague J*Ryu who will be moderating, and Planet Bee Foundation co-founder Debra Tomaszewski, who will be bringing goodies sponsored by Marin Bee Company to give out to great question askers. Planet Bee Foundation are my new partners in conservation efforts to educate and share art and help foster responsible eco-friendly stewardship for our bee populations! The panel will also feature a representative from Holbein, which is the company that makes my favorite Duo Aqua water soluble oil paints! They’ll be giving some Holbein paint samples out during the panel to good question askers too, so if you’ve wondered about how water-soluble oils work and how they’re environmentally friendly, this is a great time to ask!

I’m also returning to Holbein booth 5104 on Saturday, July 22, to do a live painting demonstration from 10-11am! I’ll be working on a brand new painting and demoing Holbein Duo Aqua water soluble oil paints, the same ones I use in my book Pop Painting! This is an awesome opportunity to see my techniques in action, and ask about how I make my paintings, so come watch on Saturday Jul 22 from 10-11am at booth 5104!

Calgary Expo Is On!

Hello from Calgary Expo! The show is on, and my booth is set up at guest artist tables X4-5! I have lots of prints, books, totes, and goodies, so if you’re in the Calgary area, be sure to stop by and say hi!

I’m giving a live painting demo at Kensington Art Supplies booth x20-21, Friday at 3pm! Come and watch me work on a new painting and chat, I’m happy to sign books, too!

 

On Saturday, April 29, I’m presenting a panel at Calgary Expo on my book Pop Manga Coloring Book! You can come and color along with me on pages from my book. I’ll bring some colored pencils, or you can bring your own from home! My panel will be in Palomino room AB on Saturday at 11am. See you there!

Original Artwork

I’m bringing a small number of original drawings and Japanese Shikishi boards to Calgary Expo! I’ll take a limited number of headshot drawing commissions each day at the show. They could be pen & ink for $75 or graphite drawings for $100, here’s a look at one I did in Chicago!

Books

I’m bringing lots of books to Calgary Expo! You can pick up a copy of my graphic novel series Tanpopo GN Vol 1 & 2, or copies of my How-To books “Pop Manga” and “Pop Painting”! I’ll also have lots of copies of “Pop Manga Coloring Book”, so you could bring your new copy to color with me at my Coloring panel Saturday 11am in room Palomino AB! Or collect a copy of my newest artbook “Rainbow Children”. I’m happy to sign books for no extra cost, and you can ask about sketches in books at the show!

Calgary Expo Charity Artbook

Calgary Expo makes beautiful themed artbooks with proceeds being donated to the Make A Wish foundation of southern Alberta. I’m honored to contribute artwork to this year’s themed artbook, “Fairy Tales & Classic Monsters”! You can pick up a copy of the artbook at the Calgary Expo Store in Hall D, and if you bring it to my table X4-5, I’ll sign my artwork page!
