Find My Artwork At Edmonton Expo

It’s almost time for Edmonton Expo! I wish I could be there this year, but sadly I’m travelling, so I made sure there will be a table with my artwork in my place! Look for my helpers at table X26 because they’re bringing prints and books I’ve signed in advance, some of my new apparel collection from Liveheroes, tote bags, pins, stickers, and more goodies!

There will be a handful of pieces from my Liveheroes official clothing collection at table X26. They’re so soft and feel amazing in person! Each piece is hand-made in Europe with lots of love, and they look and wear fantastic! Since they’re all hand-made, I only have a few of each design and size, so visit table X26 early for the most selection. And if you can’t make it to the Expo, you can order your own online here!

Prints

I’ve signed and sent prints to Edmonton Expo for my table X26! So even though I won’t be there in person this year, you can still have your print signed, all ready for you to take home! There will be lots of prints, both new and some fan favorites, so check them out at table X26!

Books

Visitors to my table X26 at Edmonton Expo will be able to pick up books I’ve signed for you lovelies in advance! There will be artbooks like Femina & Fauna, and Rainbow Children. Along with signed Pop Painting, and Tanpopo volumes 1 & 2. I’m also offering a special for the show. When you buy 2 books, you’ll get a bonus gift print too! I’ve sent some gift prints with my helpers, so choose your favorite 2 books and they’ll give you the print as my thank you to you!

I’m also sending goodies to Edmonton Expo table X26 like my Sir Reginald and Tuttleina hard enamel pins, and more! This is the first time fans in Edmonton will be able to collect my hard enamel pins at the show, so come pick your favorite designs from my table X26!

Coming to CatCon Aug 12-13

I’m going to a fun new convention in Pasadena! Cat Con is a cat themed convention at the Pasadena convention center, August 12-13. I’ll be set up at exhibitor booth#707 with prints, apparel, books, new kitty-themed goodies and more.

Everything I bring to Cat Con booth 707 will be a delight for all you cat lovers out there! Here’s a look at some of the prints I’ll have with me.

I’m also making some brand new prints I’ll be offering for the first time! Come find me at booth 707 for prints like “Neko-Chan” and “Dandylion”!

I’ll also have new hand-made goodies like these Handicat catnip-stuffed cat toys and 13″ pillows! Each one is printed, cut, sewn and stuffed by hand in Canada. They’re so cute!

“Dandylion” is also debuting as a glasses cleaning cloth at CatCon booth 707! They can be used on your cellphone or tablet, or other screens, and the best part is they’re handmade locally in Vancouver and machine washable. So just pop it in the wash to clean it and you’re good to go!

And just take a look at these amazing new Handicat hard enamel pins! They’re so cute and full of squish face, I just can’t even! Hard Enamel pins have a polished surface on top, and these ones come with locking clutch backings too! I’ll have them at my CatCon booth 707 so come pick one up!

I’m also bringing copies of my newest artbook, Femina & Fauna 2nd Edition, to CatCon booth 707! This is a new edition to my Femina & Fauna artbook, which sold out of all 4 of its print runs. For this new edition I added loads of new artwork, a different cover and a whole new chapter on how I painted Aria.

CatCon fans will be able to pick up a copy of my Pop Manga Coloring Book at booth 707! And don’t be shy to ask me to sign it- I’d love to!

I have something new and fun to bring to Cat Con August 12-13! I’m bringing a very few handmade cat jackets featuring my artwork “Aria”! Doesn’t my friend’s kitty, Marlow, look so dapper? Each jacket is made by hand in Vancouver, so only a few exist, but maybe a few could come to my Etsy one day!

Totes! I’m bringing some awesome totes, clutch purses and a limited amount of tshirts and tanktops to CatCon booth 707. I’ll only have a handful, and some of the designs will only have 1-2 of each available, so if you see something you love, don’t wait! I’ll see you soon in sunny Pasadena August 12-13!

Thank You San Diego Comic Con!

That’s a wrap! SDCC 2017 is all done, and what an amazing show! I want to give a big Thank You shout out to everyone who visited and supported me at my booth, joined my signing, panel and live painting, and made this San Diego Comic Con incredible!

Everyone at Dark Horse Comics and team tokidoki, and of course Simone, were fantastic and my signing to celebrate Femina & Fauna 2nd Ed. was incredible! Thank you to everyone who came out to support my new artbook!

Big squishes and thank you’s to my collectors, both new and returning, who gave my Surreal Safari collection pieces such amazing new homes! I had a blast painting them, and all my petite paintings from this year’s collection have gone to new places. I’m already thinking about my next painting series!

Every year I get to make Live Painting at Holbein art supplies booth a part of my SDCC experience, and I love sharing my techniques and talking about the thing I love to do most with fans and visitors. Thanks again to Holbein for having me and for their support. All their paints and supplies are amazing, so check them out if you haven’t yet!

This year’s Comic Con will stay with me in my memories, and I’m so grateful for all your love and support for my artwork! Next year is going to be my 20th year going to SDCC, and I know already it’s going to be a wonderful show. I hope to see you lovelies there!

San Diego Comic Con Part 3 Events

It’s coming up fast! Next week San Diego Comic Con will be upon us, and I’ve got fun events planned during the show. I’ll have a booth again at booth#4723 in the Fantasy Illustrator section, so come visit me there to get your books and prints signed, and check out all my awesome goodies!

I’ve got a special signing event to celebrate the release of my artbook, “Femina & Fauna 2nd Edition”! Dark Horse Comics, the publisher of the artbook, is hosting a signing event on Thursday July 20, from 4-5:30pm at their booth#2615. I’ll be signing alongside Simone Legno, creator of tokidoki who contributed the forward to Femina & Fauna 2nd Ed! We’ll be signing a special SDCC event-only print featuring my artwork ‘Black Rabbit Kaleidoscope’ and Simone’s painting image ‘Selfie’, and signing copies of Femina & Fauna purchased at the show. This is a wristband-only signing limited to 75 wristbands, so you need to get a wristband from Dark Horse Comics booth#2615. There will be 30 wristbands given out Wednesday night, and 45 wristbands distributed Thursday morning at booth 2615, so go visit them early to get one! I hope to see you there, and don’t be shy to ask to take a photo together! 😉

Save The Bees With Art Panel

I’m teaming up with some amazing partners to present a totally unique and super fun panel this year at SDCC! On Friday July 21 from 2-3pm, you can come to my “Save The Bees With Art” panel in Room 2. I’m bringing coloring book pages for everyone from my book Pop Manga Coloring Book and some crayons for if you’d like to color along during the panel! I’m also bringing postcards of my Lemon Drop painting to give out to great question askers during the panel!

I’ll be joined by my friend and art colleague J*Ryu who will be moderating, and Planet Bee Foundation co-founder Debra Tomaszewski, who will be bringing goodies sponsored by Marin Bee Company to give out to great question askers. Planet Bee Foundation are my new partners in conservation efforts to educate and share art and help foster responsible eco-friendly stewardship for our bee populations! The panel will also feature a representative from Holbein, which is the company that makes my favorite Duo Aqua water soluble oil paints! They’ll be giving some Holbein paint samples out during the panel to good question askers too, so if you’ve wondered about how water-soluble oils work and how they’re environmentally friendly, this is a great time to ask!

I’m also returning to Holbein booth 5104 on Saturday, July 22, to do a live painting demonstration from 10-11am! I’ll be working on a brand new painting and demoing Holbein Duo Aqua water soluble oil paints, the same ones I use in my book Pop Painting! This is an awesome opportunity to see my techniques in action, and ask about how I make my paintings, so come watch on Saturday Jul 22 from 10-11am at booth 5104!
