Sakura-Con, Here We Come!

If you’re in the Seattle, Washington area, then you should come to Sakura-Con this weekend! There will be lots of booth volunteers, and almost all of the products that are available online will be at the show. We’ll be set-up at booth 710, which is along the left wall after you enter the convention hall.

As a special treat, the framed print “Loveless Bird” will be on-sale; it’s one of only two pieces that are available in this format. Click on the image below for a bigger version to see how the framing really enhances the art. It probably won’t be available long, so come to the booth to check it out – even if you don’t think you’ll purchase the piece. Hope to see you there!

Sakura-Con 2010

Hi Everyone!

Good news ^_^ We survived Sakura-Con!! The crowds were massive, with some people waiting up to six hours just to get in! Probably a good idea for everyone to pre-register online or something cause that was a lot of time spent sitting there waiting.   Everybody was so happy anyways and the costumes were incredible! Most people were dressed up which was so awesome to see!

We <3 Camilla

Some people came specifically to buy Camilla’s merchandise – thank you Jessica, Seven and Jaseena and others.  We introduced Camilla to a lot more new fans.  And then there were Camilla’s fans who didn’t know we were there who stumbled across our booth and cried out with happiness to be able get some “shtuff”, right Kyle?  😉

Check out all the delicious merchandise!! No wonder people came back over and over!  There are 53 different arts cards on our table!  Camilla and I are coming out to Calgary April 24-25 so that will be your next chance to see our booth and all this merchandise.  If you can’t make it, you can always buy online!  www.camilla.bigcartel.com

My very first BLOG ^^)

Hi Everyone!

These are fun and fast-moving times and I thought since it’s so darn exciting for me, you might like to hear about it too. First off, my nicknames are a combination of me and what I do… Nancy + Cons + Online Store  = Conan / Nanacon / Nanaconda or just plain ol’ Nancy – whatever works for ya!

Two weeks ago, this small town girl took over the big city of Orlando – and had a blast at Mega Con 2010.  The crowds were huge and it was so much fun introducing Camilla to so many new fans.  One girl actually cried when she saw “Blueberry Sucker” – octopus love ^_^   I had awesome Booth Helpers – thank you and big hugs to Miriam and Holly.

So, here we go, our convention season is now under way!  We are pretty stoked to be attending Sakura-Con for the first time – this weekend!  This is also the first time we took pre-orders to ensure you get the “stuff” you want before someone else buys it at the con.  What a great idea!

Camilla is heading to WonderCon which should be amazing, as always.  I can’t wait till we team up for Calgary Comic Con April 24 – Camilla is a special guest so make sure you go to her workshops.  She loves to do them and you will learn a lot!

We love “stuff” and look forward to bringing you even more sweet merchandise in April.  Besides cons, you can shop online anytime.  We want you to be happy, so please let us know if you need anything at all.   Email me at cderricostore@gmail.com and I will do everything I can to help you!

I hope you all have an awesome Easter!  Having spent a lot at the dentist in the last few months, no one in my family is eager for chocolate LOL but a nice big dinner is going to be lovely.  Talk to you soon!

Sakura Con & Wondercon = Happy Easter Weekend!

Hello everyone! Quick note to let you know that we’re gearing up for another double convention weekend!

I’ll be at Wondercon again, with two tables in Artist Alley, same place as last year, and with even more merchandise. I’ve got new clothing, new prints, new merchandise, new jewelry … yes, indeed, there will be lots to pick up, even for those who cleaned me out last year!  Ha ha! I’m ready for ya, come and get me!!  TABLE 62 & 63 IN ARTIST ALLEY.

And for the first time ever, we’ll be at Sakura Con in Seattle!  Nancy will be there with all the merchandise too, living it up with the anime fans. For those who have asked me about Sakura Con in the past, I PROMISE that I will go as soon as I can. With cons overlapping this is a problem, but trust me, now that Nancy is on board, we can double up the presence at conventions and she’s a ton of fun, so please go say hi to her and pick up some of your favorite items!  TABLE 704 DEALER’S ROOM

Check out some photos from Megacon! You can’t miss the booth!

Happy Easter and I look forward to seeing you out at the cons!

Conventions Report – 1st weekend down, many more to go!

Hello, hello!! My voice hasn’t quite recovered from Emerald City Comic Con and I’m still reeling from the mass of people that were there.  I had three of the bestest helpers a girl could ask for, and we found out that next year the show will be extended to three days!  Here are a few photos for ya!

So thank you to everyone who came out and supported me, bought from me and chatted with me. It was awesome and a great way to kick off convention season.  While I was in Seattle, Nancy was kickin’ it in Orlando, bringing my merchandise out to Florida for the first time ever at MEGACON.  She really had an awesome time, and you should check her pics out on Flickr and on the Facebook Fanpage.  She does a much better job than I do with photos and videos and all that, but I promise I’ll do my best to get more photos too. It’s on!!  Here are a few of hers:

You’re going to be hearing a lot more about and from Nancy soon. In fact, she’ll be writing to the blog under her pseudonym and guise, Nanacon, telling everyone about the conventions she’ll be going to, new products we get in stock, and generally keeping us updated about online store promotions and anything related to merchandise.  She’s a ball of energy, and more excited about the products than me sometimes ;).

Anyone with questions about products, the online store, conventions can ask Nancy directly. You can email her at cderricostore@gmail.com and follow her on Twitter @nancyrenatta.

As we both recover from last weekend, I’m off to paint, and Nancy will be getting us ready for the Spring Break convention weekend, April 2-4th … I’ll be at Wondercon and Nanacon will be at Sakuracon!  Make sure you hit us with your special merchandise requests and we’ll bring them, special delivery!

Cheers y’all!
