Camilla’s panels at NYCC were a smashing success. Thank you to everyone involved in organizing, and the outstanding contributors Tara McPherson, Travis Louie, Mab Graves, Carlo McCormick and Jonathan LeVine.

Niji Bambini opening night, October 10th at Cotton Candy Machine Gallery, was a huge success! Thank you so much to everyone who came out, took photos, visited Camilla and collected an original piece. The gallery was packed, and filled to the roof with good times.

Camilla treated these 6×6″ square wooden panels with light layers of white paint, to create lighten the surface while still keeping the wood grain visible. The drawings were made with her favourite pens.

What a dynamite weekend! October 11-14th saw two blockbuster Camilla events back-to-back; New York Comic Convention at Javits Center NYCC and Camilla’s 2-Person exhibition The Candy Escape at Cotton Candy Machine Gallery.
Camilla attended the opening reception Oct 12 with elder sister AdaPia, fiance, d’Errico team and friends and fans packing the gallery to support her show.
More than half of Camilla’s new series of paintings and drawings sold in the online preview before the gallery doors opened. By the end of the evening only a couple of originals remained- A sell-out show by almost all accounts!
