I hope you’re all excited for summer. Because I am! And this year’s June Bug Release starts the first official day of summer: June 21st at 9AM PST to my Etsy store! I’ve got so many great goodies coming that I just had to share!
My first ever kimonos are making their online debut for my June Bug Etsy release. And I thought Pink Lemonade was the perfect image to these gorgeous flowing kimonos made by EcoDigiTec – an environmentally conscious company in Burnaby, BC. I’m all about the environment and supporting local businesses – so this was a perfect fit!
I’ve got brand new original art coming your way too! But there are only a few, so make sure you set your alarms so you don’t miss out on one of these adorable fuzzbutt paintings!
Along with original art, there will be new handmade one-of-a-kind jewelry and these June Bug Release rainbow bee hard enamel pins! I had “Rainbuzz” made for the occasion and I think he’s so bright and cheerful – just like a rainbow. There’s limited quantities of this little guy so make sure to snatch him up!
Last – but definitely not least – are my Zodiac bees! The Buzziac bees will be available for the first time as both mini prints and as stickers!
My June Bug Release will be the first time these little fuzzbutts are available since my Zodiac show at the Haven Gallery in May! Get your sign, or a loved one’s sign, as a mini print or get all of the cuties on my “Fire & Water” and “Earth & Air” Buzziac sticker sheets.
And last – but certainly not least – brand new one-of-a-kind handmade necklaces! And they’re in some funky new designs!

I’m so pleased to get to share with you all my next solo collection I’m creating for Haven Art Gallery, opening May 11th. Preview the collection online here. The Zodiac has always been something dear to my heart and a way of connecting with my family and others around me. In the Zodiac, there are 12 signs. Each sign has its specific qualities, personalities and characteristics that tell how they will interact with the world around them, be it people or life itself.
We can, as humans, connect with the stars themselves through the zodiac. Astrology determines how these constellations relate to human activity and connect us with celestial phenomena. Each sign represents specific characteristics of behaviour and personality traits that dictate the roles that we play in the world. Their archetypal nature helps to give us an understanding of a sense of purpose in the universe.
When painting the Zodiac, I wanted to create images that blended my knowledge and love of the star signs with what each sign’s traits mean to me personally through my experiences. We all are unique, yet when we look at the horoscope we can identify similar traits in others that bring us together. The zodiac tethers people together in a mystical way.
I’ll be travelling to Haven Art Gallery to attend opening reception May 11th for the debut of my Zodiac solo exhibition collection. I hope to see some of you at opening reception 6-8pm at Haven Gallery! Please inquire original artworks for your collection by emailing email@example.com and Preview the collection here.
