Painted for Camilla’s solo exhibition, “Sky” at Corey Helford Gallery, Godiva celebrates full figured women with the glory of a renaissance painting master. Godiva is one of many of Camilla’s creative love letters embracing body positivity. We all live under the same sky" is an Italian saying about unity which inspired Camilla to create this painting. We all share the same planet so we should love each other no matter what size, gender or sexual preference. Beauty is about who we are in life, not what we look like. So like Lady Godiva who rode naked to fight for the people's rights, this painting is fighting for the rights of women to embrace and celebrate themselves. Collectively, we can all help create an inclusive world.
