Senora Rubrum

Red is the color of wild emotions; passion, love and fiery energies. I associate this shade with my mama, who adores this intense color, so I painted “Senora Redrum” in her honor. Including my mothers own betta fish in the painting. This spectrum girl shows my deepest love for my amazing mama.
Senora Rubrum is the third piece to release from my newest 2020 Solo Show at the Corey Helford Gallery - "The Color Wheel". Color, and the absence of color, are communicators. The Color Wheel collection is conversational, pushing emotional and creative boundaries.
